• What is a service role?

A service role is a standard set of functions on a service. Each LloydsLink online service has a number of roles which provide the user with access to different service functions. Some of these roles must be configure by you to define the actions you wish the user to be able to carry out within that role.

When an individual applies for access to a service they must select the service role that they are applying for. Once approved by you, as the service administrator, the user can log on to the LloydsLink online services and gain access to service functions allowed by that role. If a service requires dual control, the user’s application will need to be approved by a second service administrator for that service.
