• How do I setup Internet Explorer security settings so that ActiveX can be downloaded?

    If you are experiencing difficulty accessing the Cash Management service, this may be because your browser has not been set up to enable the ActiveX control to be downloaded. To modify your browser, please follow the steps described below:

    • Run Internet Explorer
    • Select Tools then Internet Options from the browser menu bar. This will open the Internet Options window.
    • Select the Security tab and click on the Trusted Sites zone icon (shown as a tick inside a green circle)
    • Click on the Sites button. This will open the Trusted Sites window.
    • Deselect the check box for Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone 
    • In the Add this Web site to the zone text box, type https://*.lloydsbank.com, and click on the Add button. The web site will be added to the Web sites view in the box below.
    • Reselect the check box for Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone 
    • Select OK. The Trusted Sites window will close.
    • You now need to set the Internet Explorer browser settings for the Trusted Sites Zone.
    • With the Trusted Sites zone icon still highlighted, click on the Custom Level button. This will open the Security Settings window.
    • Ensure the following options are set to enable.
      • Under ActiveX controls and plug-ins:
      • Download signed ActiveX
      • RunActiveX Controls and plug-ins
      • Script ActiveX Controls marked for scripting
