Ian Brown is a Managing Director and Head of Acquisition Finance Origination at Lloyds Banking Group, leading a team of more than 60 origination professionals. This team provides senior, mezzanine and high yield financing for private equity transactions of all sizes across the UK and continental Europe. He joined Lloyds Banking Group in 2006 as part of an initiative to build out the bank’s leveraged finance underwriting business, which is now a prominent player in its chosen markets.
Before joining Lloyds Banking Group, Ian spent 13 years in the leveraged finance team at UBS, where he was a Managing Director and formerly head of the European leveraged finance execution team.
