Simon joined Lloyds Banking Group in September 2010 from BNP Paribas where he was a Managing Director running the origination teams across Europe within their Loan Syndication and Trading team.
Simon has worked in financial services for more than 20 years starting his career with Barclays Bank before joining Robert Fleming and then Fuji Bank.
In 1998, he was recruited by what was then BNP, soon to become BNP Paribas, into their newly formed Loan Syndication team. Over the course the following years Simon was a key member of that team and overseeing many of the changes and developments that took place, to take that team to a leading position in Europe.
Simon’s focus will be on developing Loan Markets to better support the banks clients.
