Richard was appointed as Managing Director & Head of Corporate Real Estate Business Support in March 2009. CRE BSU is responsible for a diverse range of property businesses and Richard has build this new unit recruiting a team both internally and externally with specialist experience across a number of specialist real estate sectors including house builders, property investment and development and joint ventures.

The SFI team is responsible for managing LBG banking relationships with specialty lenders and intermediaries e.g. commercial and consumer finance, debt collectors, inter dealer brokers, stock exchanges and building societies.

With over 24 years experience with the Lloyds Banking Group, Richard has spent the last 12 years dealing with various aspects of the Public Sector. Since 2004, Richard has focused on the NHS sector and now leads the Group’s involvement with NHS Foundation Trusts. This involves regular meetings with MONITOR and providing guidance to colleagues across the country.

Anthony Williams joined the bank in 2013 as Head for Consumer Services and Entrepreneurs - Global Corporates. Anthony’s career spans more than 25 years in banking and the corporate world. He has held a number of senior roles in leading international financial organizations. Anthony’s most recent banking role was at ABN Amro/ RBS, where he spent more than five years in a number of positions, most recently as Head of the Consumer Sector Advisory business.

Gary has over twelve years experience in the Leveraged Finance market, five of these with Lloyds where he has led a wide range of transactions across the mid market for a diverse group of sponsors. Prior to Lloyds he spent seven years in the RBS Leverage finance team where he was a Senior Director.
James was a founder member of the Lloyds Mid Markets Origination team in 2005 and has 10 years experience in leveraged finance and sponsor coverage. James has led over 20 successful leveraged loan and high yield bond LBOs in the last 3 years for a wide range of sponsors across Western European. James’ notable recent transactions include deals for Towergate, Care UK, Ipes, DFS, BBC Magazines and Unicom.
