Robert Plehn is Head of Asset Backed Solutions within Lloyds Banking Group.
Robert's team has responsibility for origination, structuring and execution of all term securitisation, covered bond and other asset backed funding transactions for clients of the Group.
Robert joined HBOS in 2003 where he fulfilled a role similar to his current one. Prior to this, Robert was the global head of securitisation at ING Bank, having taken that role in 2000.
Robert started his career as a lawyer with the international law firm of Sidley & Austin in 1988 and was made a partner at the firm in 1996. He has managed teams and worked on transactions in most major European jurisdictions and has been responsible for a number of market changing transactions.
Robert is a graduate of Vassar College and Harvard Law School. He sits on the Wholesale Markets Excom.
