
Richard’s career spans 25 years in the financial services
industry, including a range of senior international roles across the foreign
exchange and fixed income divisions at Citigroup from 1986 to 2008. Richard
started his career in FX Trading where he became the Global Head of FX. In
2002, his responsibilities were expanded, becoming the Global Head of Rates and
Currencies. His last role at Citigroup was Head of Fixed Income (Europe, Middle
East and Africa), with a broad range of
responsibilities across trading and sales, development and distribution of a
full range of fixed income products and services.
Richard is currently a Non-Executive Director for
Standard & Poor’s Credit Market Services Europe and was a Principal and
Senior Advisor to StormHarbour, a well respected financial services partnership
focused on the global fixed income markets serving institutional investors,
corporations and financial institutions. On 1st March 2012, Richard
joined Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking as Managing Director –
Trading from MF Global, where he held the position of CEO Europe since April
2011.
On 20th March, Richard was appointed Head of
Sales & Trading.
