Matthew Lawrence has responsibility for delivering financial markets solutions to the commercial and mid market clients of Lloyds Banking Group. Prior to this, Matthew was the Head of High Volume Sales, HBOS Treasury responsible for derivative sales to Commercial, Retail and Real Estate clients. In previous roles he ran eBusiness, Business development and the International business covering Europe, BoSI and North America. In addition he has also run the relationship with the HBOS Group's bancassurance businesses working on the customer proposition and structural hedging for their ALM functions.
Matthew graduated from Oxford University, which he attended on a business studies scholarship, reading Philosophy and Psychology. After university he joined Arthur Andersen where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant working with a range of clients including the Central Bank of Lithuania, the Sultan of Brunei, Enron and CALFP.
He is married with two children, enjoys cooking and plays guitar in a band.
