Our network of local relationship directors work alongside our trade teams to offer the most appropriate forms of finance to help optimise use of working capital as part of your supply chain.
Your suppliers can obtain early payment of their invoices over our supplier finance platform, giving them greater access to invaluable working capital.
If you have a confirmed order from a quality buyer backed by a documentary credit, we may be able to provide you with the working capital you need to produce and ship the goods, giving you the reassurance of being able to take on new contracts and grow your business.
When you have shipped goods to a customer, we may be able to advance payment so you don't have to wait for that customer to pay, giving access to capital to fund further operations.
We can provide short-term finance linked to your trading cycle to enable you to pay your suppliers promptly but allowing time for you to re-sell the stock or undertake any capital expenditure required.
Introduced early 2011, the Bond Support Scheme
provides partial guarantees to participating banks under a master bond
support agreement in respect of UK exports. Where a bank issues a
contract bond (or procures its issue by an overseas bank) in respect of a
UK export contract, UKEF will typically guarantee 50% of the value of
the bond and up to 80% for advance payment and progress payment bonds.
Please see our dedicated factsheet for full details of the scheme. Further information can also be found on the UK Export Finance website.
The Export Working Capital Scheme was introduced in
2011 to assist UK exporters to gain access to working capital finance
(both pre and post-shipment) in respect of specific export contracts.
The scheme exists to help UK exporters grow and is intended for small to
medium sized businesses. The scheme is helping UK exporters with
additional funding and with cash flow.
Please see our in-depth factsheet for full details of the scheme. Further information can also be found on the UK Export Finance website.
