Lead Relationship Director Construction

Gary joined Bank of Scotland in 1984, working in Glasgow and Edinburgh, before moving to London in 2000. Most recently at BoS, Gary led the Large Corporate team, focusing on businesses with a turnover in excess of £25 million. 

Following the acquisition by Lloyds, Gary was appointed Lead Relationship Director Construction, tasked with building a sector-focussed business against a challenging economic backdrop. It’s a task that he has embraced whole-heartedly.  

Building strong customer relationships is at the core of this strategy, together with a clear focus on understanding the sector dynamics. Key to this is a deep understanding of the customers’ businesses, the markets in which they operate and, in particular, the nature of their contracts and the working capital cycle. 

Gary is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland.
